CSA A123.24:21 — a world first
Bioroof partnered with the NRC and other industry leaders to develop the CSA A123.24:21 Standard Test Method for Wind Resistance of Vegetated Roof Assembly, the first of its kind worldwide. CSA Group is accredited in the United States by ANSI and listed by OSHA as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. An online calculator was created alongside the standard for building officials and designers to evaluate assembly design parameters.

Bioroof Systems is an industry partner and lead consultant to the Green Roof Innovation Testing Laboratory at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, where vegetated roof assemblies are instrumented and monitored under real North American conditions rather than modelled.

Systems are manufactured and supplied by Bioroof from Ontario, with pre-grown vegetation ready on delivery.

We supply and support; installation is carried out by an approved installer network across Canada and the United States.
